Information to Saint Martin :

Saint Martin’s only coral island in Bangladesh, it is located south of the mainland of Bangladesh. Saint Martin, a small island of 17 sq km, is 120 kilometers away from Cox’s Bazar district. In the local language, Saint Martin is called coconut jinzira. The wonderful natural beauty of this island has become one of the tourist destinations of Bangladesh. The blue water of the sea with infinite blue sky, the row of coconut trees is unique in this island, which attracts travel peasants to the irresistible attention.

If you want to go to St. Martin, you must first come to Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar district. You can go straight to Teknaf by bus from Dhaka. Buses from Shyamoli, Saintmartin transport, Eagle, S Alam, Modern line, Green line etc from Fakirapul and Sayedabad in Dhaka and went straight to Teknaf. The travel time of 10-12 hours is generally between 900 and 2000 taka per bus and class.
Or come to Dhaka from Cox’s Bazar and then from Cox’s Bazar to Teknaf. Many buses leaving Green Line, Sohag, TR Travels, Shyamoli, Hanif, Soudia, Eagle, S Alam, Silk Line, St. Martin, etc from Dhaka for the purpose of Cox’s Bazar, are usually between 1000 to 2500 taka for rent. Also from Cox’s Bazar can be seen on the plane from Dhaka.
If you want to come to Chittagong from Dhaka by train, you can travel from Dhaka to Sonar Bangla, Torna Nishitha, Suborn Express, Mahanagar Pravati / Godhuli, Chittagong Mail by train on your own. Then Cox’s Bazar car is available every hour from Chittagong’s Bahaddar Hat or new bridge area. You can travel on the bus to S Alam, Saudia, Unique etc. to get good service among them.

What will you have Saint Martin :

The most famous thing in St. Martin’s is the Coconut /dub which is sweet and delicious at one go. At St. Martin’s, one should check at least one dub. For those who like to eat fish, waiting for them with various types of St Martin Turtle, Beautiful Poya, Hilsa, Rupchandas, Lobster, Kalachandas etc. And if you have a chance, you can eat kura. (Desert chickens are called Kura). Day long trip :

Those who are going to visit St. Martin on the day long trip due to lack of time, do not waste time on the ship and come straight to the van with West Beach or Maine Beech. For this, you have to pay 150 to 200 taka van. It takes 20 to 25 minutes to walk here, but it will not be worth the time to waste time on the day long trip. This place is good for water, so if you want to come to the vine then you can sow in soft water. If you do not do it, keep in mind that you should be free before 2 or even you will not get the time to eat. And of course, you must reach the ship before 3. If you have time, you can see Humayun Ahmed’s cottage near Main Beach.
